Sofie is a classically trained musician, part of the Stones Throw family, an original member of the Boiler Room team and an eclectic DJ in her own right, with a monthly radio show on London's NTS Radio. She got her foundations in DJing at a Stones Throw hosted night called 56, which took place at the now shut down Mr T’s Bowl in Highland Park. From there she connected with Boiler Room when they booked their first across-the-pond broadcast on the West Coast, that evening warming up the turntables for none other than Dam-Funk, J Rocc and Peanut Butter Wolf. A relationship was born between the two camps that night which ultimately led to her becoming a core member of the team, responsible for hosting, programming, creative direction and merchandise. She currently resides in Vienna, does A&R work for Stones Throw, freelances for Boiler Room, plays synth and guitar in a band, and is a member of the Wiener Akademische Philharmonie.
