Songwriter, producer and visual artist Anna Attar aka Monsterheart released her third album "New" (Polkov Records) in January. "New" is about a new beginning. On her new album, the Vienna-based musician processes biographical experiences - studies, marriage, child - and packs them into thoughtful songs that are both tender and self-determined.  Attar herself calls her music "Graveyard Pop", even though her music has nothing to do with graveyards, but is uplifting in a strange way, with melodies that stick in the memory.
