Born in 1996, Overblood have always been an active part in the underground of Italy since their starting. After many gigs and one demo release Overblood started to play with a complete new formation in 2000 when Marco (voice), Flavio (guitar) and Nicola (bass) from the original formation were reached by Gabriele (drums) and Dario (guitar) from the thrash band Berserk.
In 2001 they released a self produced full-length called "Our Blood" trying to synthesize the experience so far... The album received some great reviews from webzines all over the world. We were described by an American reviewer as DOPE HEAVY ITALIAN STUFF!!!
The new material that has come out over these years demonstrates how much they changed since the latest release. Starting from the heavy impact of middle 90’s bands like Pantera and Sepultura they have now recovered the roots of thrash metal as for speed and violence (Annihilator, Testament, Slayer...), but with an eye to the new European scene. They are now recording the new promo that should be ready for this fall. It will be fiercer and more fucking aggressive!!!
