Collecting Societies and Creative Commons appear to be two opponent forms of  protecting creative (musical) works. Juridical problems, technical aspects and a sometimes ambiguous practise of their own principles seem to complicate a common developpement of solutions.

But both forms offer certain possibilities which fit the needs of musicians, their listeners, fans and consumers.

This meeting shall bring out potential ways to connect those two divergent models in the near future.
