Sound]so is one of the founding members of the Shellbeach/Hellbeach family nowerdays tending to cooperate on various projects. The artist formerly known as Dj Step now more and more often is brought in connection with the pseudonym “sound]so”. Due to the intention not to fulfil expectations he tends to change his name either in variations ( so[und]so, in combination with others namely “../[._/” also seen as “so[../[oder]so” and joining the New Justice League @ Steirischer Herbst) or as a whole. The aim is not to entice people with a brand but to make the moment the most important thing. Not expecting anything, being surprised by the outcome. Musically his roots lay in techno, still in the course of time he developed his own genre-hopping style which makes it unpredictable what the sets will sound like. From Hip Hop, a variety of nostalgic/innovative club sounds to Breakcore everything is possible. Never intended to empty the club but to take the audience onto a trip into the vast cosm of electronic music.
Unwillingly to be compressed in only one musical direction, this Dj-Team fill their listeners with enthusiasm because of their frequently changing sets and the fusion of different styles.
They love to take the party-crowd on an emotional roller coaster journey, partly combined with scratches, across their magnificent repertoire.
