There is no biography or backstory available about Bristol’s Rhythmic Theory. RT put out several releases on his/her/their eponymous label and listening to the tunes you get the sense that context might be beside the point. When the Kelly Twins spoke to Juno Plus about the name of the label "Happy Skull", they explained: the idea of exiting a bunker post-apocalypse and finding a grinning skeleton amongst the ruins. While Rhythmic Theory's music is admittedly dark it remains danceable and its functionality for and in the club is apparent.
