Our Struggle for Democracy

 A Scenic-theatrical Laboratory  by InterACT in the Framework of „Future Games“

Which challenges do we have to confront when we strive for more democracy in different areas of life and contexts such as media & politics, money & business, education & work, relationships & children, city & neighborhood, etc? Which utopias do we envision? How will we turn them into reality?

We´ll use methods of participatory theater, developed in the tradition of the “theater of the oppressed”, to tackle these questions. They can be used by everybody, involve our body, senses and emotions, expand our scope of action and open up dialogues and discourses on social and political change in creative ways. They promote collective empowerment.
