Hanna Herbst studied political sciences in Vienna and wrote articles for literature magazines every once in a while. In 2013 she started working as an intern for VICE, which hired her in 2014. She´s primarily responsible for reporting on video and politics. Hanna got noted for her reporting on the Austrian „Akademikerball“, a prestigious and highly contested event of the extreme right. Since September 2015 she serves as VICE´s deputy chief editor. She was recently named as one of the „30 best under 30“ by Österreichischer Journalist and Forbes Austria.
