Bianca Ludewig

Since 2016 Bianca Ludewig is a prae doc university assistant at the department for European ethnology of Vienna University. Since 2015 she is teaching Popular Music and Cultural Studies at Humboldt University Berlin. Since 2012 she is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Innsbruck. Ludewig studied philosophy and cultural anthropology at the University of Hamburg and continued her studies at Humboldt University, institute for European ethnology. She is a member of the German Media Studies Association, IASPM D-A-CH, the Research Group Popular Music at Humboldt University (FGPM), the research group New Urban Tourism, the network Precarious Knowledge and an activist of female:pressure, an international network of female identified artists and activists in the fields of electronic music and digital arts. Previous to her academic studies she has been working as a freelance music journalist, DJ, DIY festival curator and radio activist.
