Begin of page section: Content
The transnational network Afrique Europe Interact connects activists from Mali, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. The initiatives range from social, legal and medical support for deportees, political work and promotion of self-determined development prospects in Mali, to solidarity campaigns, anti-racist grassroots initiatives and self-organized groups of refugees in Europe. Transnational campaigns are designed to contribute to the enforcement of civil, political and social rights of refugees and migrants, but also to draw attention to the neo-colonial exploitation and subjugation of Africa, and to the dramatic consequences of climate change and of agricultural and immigration policies of the United States and Europe.
