Research for Transition
In the first half of 2014, three Ecuadorian governmental institutions funded a research project for the development of a transition plan towards a social open knowledge society, in other words, a commons-based society. The project produced a Commons Transition Plan and some proposals for various policy areas. What happens when project proposals such as the "commonification" of public services or the introduction of new roles for governments come face to face with real states in their present forms? Where did these first transition processes present limitations and what can we learn from these experiences for the future?
Event in cooperation with Grüne Bildungswerkstatt.
