Mathis Hampel (at)
Mathis Hampel is an Austrian climate geographer, science and technology researcher. Doctorate at King's College London on the interaction between climate science and climate policy. In addition to the physical reality of climatological changes, he is interested in the millennial history of ideas on climate and climate change. He runs the climate change blog in the daily newspaper Der Standard and publishes internationally on relevant topics.
Since 2018 he has headed the editorial office of the civil society association Generation Grundeinkommen, an association for the introduction of an unconditional basic income in Austria.
