Adam Harvey (us)
Adam Harvey is a Berlin-based artist and researcher whose work explores the topics of privacy, surveillance, and biometrics. Harvey is a graduate of the Interactive Telecommunications program at New York University (2010). Previous projects includes developing a proof-of-concept camouflage against face detection (CV Dazzle, 2010), thermally-reflective clothing to evade military drones (Stealth Wear, 2013), and a low-cost geolocation spoofing device (SkyLift, 2015).
His work has been featured widely in publications ranging from the New York Times to the Air Force Times and has done residences with MQ21 in Vienna, EIGEN Art + Lab in Berlin, and most recently was awarded a Prototype Fund grant to develop computer vision software for human rights organizations.
