Kathrin Hartmann is a graduate of Art History, Philosophy and Scandinavian Studies at the University of Frankfurt am Main. After completing an internship at the „Frankfurter Rundschau“, she became a news editor and reported on current affairs. From 2006 to 2009 she worked as an editor at „Neon“, the lifestyle magazine of „Stern“. After her first book „Ende der Märchenstunde - Wie die Industrie die Lohas und Lifetsyle-Ökos vereinnahmt“ was published in October 2009, Kathrin Hartmann started working as an independent writer in Munich.
