end times by Kevin Richard Martin & Pedro Maia

Based on his Lockdown Grooves set created earlier this year for Elevate, exceptional musician Kevin Richard Martin, better known as The Bug, has developed the audiovisual work "end times" for the festival. Together with experimental filmmaker Pedro Maia, Martin created a three-hour loop that will be experienced in a black box situation. The images by Portuguese artist Maia resemble a sci-fi light tunnel and follow a movement of constant acceleration. The sounds develop an inescapable hypnotic pull and, in combination with the images, provide a psychedelic experience.
