Maryam Laura Moazedi is a university lecturer at the Karl Franzens University in Graz. She studied transcultural communication and psychology in Graz, London, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Helsinki, Vancouver and Tokyo. For many years she has been working in theory and practice (including as a diversity manager in industry) on diversity and stereotyping in general and the dimensions of religion, ethnicity and age in particular. Her focus is on the thematic complex of heterogeneity and work. Another focus of her work is the topic of diversity in the context of schools, in urban space and in film.
