Daiara Tukano (br)
Daiara Hori Figueroa Sampaio - Duhigô, of the Tukano indigenous people - Yé'pá Mahsã, clan Eremiri Hãusiro Parameri of the Alto Rio Negro in the Brazilian Amazon, born in São Paulo. Artist, activist, educator and communicator. Master in Human Rights from the University of Brasília - UnB; researcher on the right to memory and truth of indigenous peoples; Coordinator of Radio Yandê, the first indigenous web-radio in Brazil - www.radioyande.com. Studies the culture, history and traditional spirituality of its people next to its family. Lives in Brasilia, DF.
*Note: Already in the week before the Elevate Festival, Daiara Tukano is in Graz and will take part in a conference at Camera Austria curated by Oliver Ressler.
