Modular synthesizers are her passion - JakoJako, who can mainly be found as a live performer, including as a Berghain resident - uses the element of surprise that the instrument offers her in her productions. Sensitive sound design, concise production and an impressive feel for long reverberating melodies characterise her work. Her sounds are dark, driving and technoid, but also subtle and ambient. It is music that is situated between sound research and club.
