Located right in the center of the town Graz (population: 280.000) in south-eastern Austria, it is easy to reach and has of course a very good infrastructure.

Close to the borders of Slovenjia, Croatia and Hungary, Graz is an important „gate to the east“ and cultural meetingplace, which also manifested itself in the year 2003, when Graz was Europe's cultural capital.

Set in an extraordinary environment, the elevate-Schlossbergfestival is unique of it's kind, because it combines three important things in life: culture, music and politics.
