1997 fing Dero an Hip Hop aufzulegen. Seine tanzbaren, innovativen Sets zeichnen sich besonders durch kreative Funk&Soul-, Break- und Bigbeat-Einflüsse aus. 2000 gründete er zusammen mit Amtrak die Turntablism Crew Ghostfaders.
