Modeselektor

>> /

Modeselektor have released several records on Ellen Allien’s label Bpich Control. Their philosophy in centered around distortion and recycling. Relentless buil-ders, they take sounds based on slightly accelerated Hip-Hop beats, working them into hundreds of fragments of “sound dust” that are created, compacted, and pulverized.

In Graz they will present their new album "Hello Mom".

Monster Zoku Onsomb!

Anyone fortunate enough to catch a Monster Zoku Onsomb! show can attest that trying to describe their onstage antics to the uninitiated verges is near impossible.

Costume changes, choreographed dancing, fake blood and tequila shots all play a small part and, when combined with lasers, visuals and Kiki iLL’s off the wall production, you’d be forgiven for thinking the lunatics had taken over the... [more]

// Naos ( / )

>> /

Naos = purzelbaumprogpop meets little rascals-core. Three boys and a little princess wanna push things forward, rent a house in graz and brew their very own music in their small cellar, lump kindergartenanarchy, breakbeats, and pop together, coat it all with sugar-sweet vocals and there goes the candy, made of tiny pathos and big emotions. Tastes delicious and is not even unhealthy...  [more]

Perishing Mankind

>> /

Some melodic death metal bands know from where to take the ideas and not to be forced to use ideas that were heard 1000 times. Those guys and the girl took the really groovy direction. It's death and roll with thrash core assaults. As they come from Austria you can get that Pungent stench feeling sometimes too and there's no definite direction. Really free and natural.

Puppetmastaz

>> /

In the early 1990´s, when fat producers and brown bankers were casting innocent boys to clone teenage hysteria, the Puppetmastaz decided to form a toygroup. Often described as Hip Hop, the Mastaz stand firm in frameless puppetstyle. Drifting between Circus and Club Culture, destorting any cliché, thourolly bashing up the pop world and setting no limits in musical styles. Maloke: "It´s a jazz... [more]

Rotator

>> /

"All hell breaks loose when Rotator steps the stage of breakbeat holocaust, it's the sound of a man so frightfully piercing your eardrums while at the same time tickling your bellybutton with shivers of excitement... or is it the collision claps of harddisk rock and tumbling waterfalls of amen galore will make your feet start stomping the ground?

Either way, this music makes you wanna jump up or... [more]
