( / )DJ, turntablist and producer Amtrak a.k.a. Michael Sommer is all about good musical energy in form of driving beats
In 2007 he founded “BASS OR DIE!” a DJ collective concentrating on bass music such as Dubstep, Grimey Beats, Electro styles and New School Breaks with Focus. While a lot of producers stay in one genre, Amtrak calls a wide variety of styles his home. With releases on Widerstand records (S.E. – Soultrade), Tiefparterre (Battle wax Vol 1.), Hirntrust (S.E. – Endeis) and several HipHop, Dubstep, D&B and Tech-break mix-CDs Amtrak can proof this variety but in the end, who cares? It´s all music anyways and if it´s got the balls to rock the dancefloor it´s cool!
