Ash my Love
Andreas Dauböck (Morbidelli Brothers) and Ursula Winterauer's (Wealth) musical sensibilities are diametrically opposed, to put it mildly. Together, as Ash My Love, they make a point of stripping things down and sticking to the roots of rock 'n' roll while exhibiting an affinity for the delta blues. Their sound draws from somewhat trashy and repetitive elements that play with distinctive, yet familiar ideas. These ideas are carved out of a rich musical tapestry and rearranged into something that aims to deliver a decidedly morbid message. Between all of that they manage to perform lamentations of life and love that are equal parts tragic and comedic.
