Matthias Vieider
Matthias Vieider grew up in Southtyrol (I) and lives in Vienna. He studied philosophy, Sprachkunst and jazz-saxophone. Publications in literary magazines and anthologies (last: Idiome Nr. 8); musical projects in the fields of improvised music and theatre music; performances between text, image, music and body (last: Die Reise nach Sils Maria, with G. Sulzenbacher). In 2014 he won the Nibelungen-Price for Jazz-Soloists. He searches for idylls of good quality.
