Max Czollek

Max Czollek is a poet from Berlin. In 2009, he was a founding-member of G13, a collective of poets from Berlin. Since 2013, he has been organizing readings for the Maxim Gorki Theater. From 2013-2015 he worked as the German curator for the project “babelsprech” aiming to establish a network among young German-speaking poets from Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, South Tyrol and Germany. Czollek was invited to various international festivals (among them Aprillen Berner Lesefest 2015 and Poesiefestival Berlin 2015).

His texts have been published in internet, magazines and anthologies (last “Jahrbuch der Lyrik 2015”). With G13, he published “Das war Absicht” (2013 SuKuLTuR) and “40% Paradies. Gedichte des Lyrikkollektivs G13“ (2012, Luxbooks). Czolleks published the monographies “Jubeljahre” (Verlagshaus Berlin, 2015) and “Druckkammern” (Verlagshaus Berlin, 2012).

 

An anthology on young German-speaking poetry “Lyrik von Jetzt 3. Babelsprech” is being published this fall (Wallstein Verlag, 2015).
