Nikolas Kichler studied architecture in Vienna and in Delft. After working for architecture firms, he moved to researching the processes of shaping and participating in urban spaces. Based on this research, he became co-founder of vienna.transitionBASE and the Commons Institute and a co-author of the City of Workshops. Currently he plans the development of a toolkit which should easily enable urban self-determined ecological building.
