Gabriele Michalitsch
The political scientist and economist Gabriel Michalitsch is currently an assistant lecturer at the International Marketing and Management University of Vienna, as well as the Universities of Vienna, Graz and Innsbruck, a lecturer at the Rosa Mayreder College, and a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Polical Science at the University of Vienna. From 2002 to 2005, Michalitsch was chairperson of the Expertise Group for the Council of Europe on Gender Budgeting, and from 2003 to 2004, she served as Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the Yeditepe University of Istanbul.  In 2006/07, she was the Aigner-Rollett Guest Professor at the University of Graz, and in 2007 the Guest Professor in the Deparment of Economy at the Corvinus University of Budapest. Alongside her academic activities, with research focuses in the areas of neo-liberalism, political economy and feminist economics, Gabriele Michalitsch manages to achieve a wide audience in the realm of civil society through her accute analyses in the course of various lectures and discussion meetings.
