The announce of Eclair Fifi’s debut series of 12” EPs – Chicago House and Latin Freestyle Drumapella, Percapella & Synthapella reissues & remixes – comes fresh from her headline radio show on NTS in 2016, which continues to top charts and gain a following online. The Scottish artist and illustrator started DJing at 16-years-old on pirate radio at InterFACE FM in London, and has since gone to host an In New DJs we Trust residency on BBC Radio 1 airing to over a million live audience, the LuckyMe show on Rinse FM and now, NTS. She closed out 2015 with a eulogised mix for Resident Advisor. Renowned for a series of European headline tours and club residencies; from curated parties in Paris, Coachella, ADE & The Warehouse Project - balanced with special guest sets at the likes of Ed Banger’s 20 Years of Party and MoMA PS-1 in New York, Fifi’s peerless energy is in part due to her consummate knowledge and love of weird and rare music. Her sets traverse Latin Freestyle, italo, techno, hip hop and RnB - fearlessly peppered with emergent unsigned demos. Clair famously helped introduce PC Music by first-playing SOPHIE’s ‘Bipp’, and early A. G. Cook on BBC Radio One back when they hadn’t amassed 100 followers on soundcloud. Her continued role in the LuckyMe label continues with breaking new records first, affording new releases a perfect context within her mixes and sets. When not DJing, Eclair Fifi is a model and illustrator behind numerous covers and videos including the hand drawn portaits adorning her debut series of reissues.
