Wolfgang Kromp
Wolfgang Kromp is head of the Institute for Security and Risk Sciences at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. His research focus includes risk research, atomic and nuclear energy, reactor physics, environmental technology and renewable energy. He undertook research at the Max-Planck-Institut Stuttgart and the Carnegie Mellon University of Pittsburgh. Kromp is a member of the Nuclear Advisory Board (FAF) to the Austrian government and of the Advisory Board to the Austrian Ministry of Defence and Sports. In 1991 he was awarded the Konrad-Lorenz-Preis.
