Wolfgang Bogensberger (Europäische Kommission)
Wolfgang Bogensberger, Advisor for Justice and Home Affairs, is Deputy Head of the Representation of the European Commission in Austria, where he also heads the Political Team. Previously, for thirteen years, he worked as Legal Advisor at the Legal Service of the European Commission in Brussels and three years as Principal Administrator in the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg. In Austria, he worked for fourteen years in the judiciary (as Judge and administrator in the Ministry of Justice, at last as Director General for criminal law legislation). He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in European Law at the Europaakademie in Vienna (1995), a Doctorate in Political Science / Journalism (1989) and a Doctorate in Law (1985), both at the University of Vienna. Moreover, he lectures Fundamental Rights at the Sigmund Freud University Vienna.
