Mona Bricke (de)

As a member of the Berlin based activist group gegenstrom (countercurrent), Mona Bricke takes part in organizing climate and energy camps as well as various protests against current energy and climate policies. In her thesis (majoring in Peace Studies at the University of Bradford) she commented on the securitisation of climate change and the role and relevance of the emerging climate movement. As of late, Mona Bricke is employed by a civil society organization working towards stopping the construction of new coal power plants in Germany.
