Franziskus Forster was politically socialised in the anti-globalization movement, especially in his work for Attac. He is co-founder and activist of AgrarAttac, which deals with topics like agriculture, world trade and food from a social-ecological perspective. Furthermore he is a former board member of Attac Austria and the agrarian alliance Austria. Besides he works in the „Climate-Justice-Movement“ and took part in the „Klima- und Antirassismuscamp in Hamburg“ 2008 as well as in the protests in Kopenhagen in 2009.
