Leo Kudlicka (at)
Leo Kudlicka is in charge of "Social Responsibility and Solidarity" in the Pastoral Office of the Diocese of Gurk. As a diocesan consultant for Church & Work, he has for several years been concerned with the conditions for shaping decent and environmentally friendly work, with concepts for a broader understanding of work and with the challenges posed by the fourth industrial revolution to gainful employment and social security systems. In addition, he has worked on alternative solidarity economic approaches to community building based on local eco-social initiatives. He is a member of the Platform Civil Society Carinthia-Koroška and co-initiator of the Carinthian Network Against Poverty and Social Exclusion. He is also co-founder and chairman of "Friesach im Wandel", the first Carinthian Transition Town. Within the framework of the "Days of the Future", "Friesach im Wandel" received a "Planetary Award" in 2017 from the Institute for Future Competences.
