Christian D. Winkler (*1986) lives as a Cultural Activist, Curator & Producer somewhere on the run between Salzburg, Graz & Vienna. In 2004 he co-founded the art-collectiv POETRO, a loose group of young poets, organizing events & happenings in empty factory halls, squatted buildings & art centers. In 2010 he founded the Elevate Partner-Festival hoergeREDE as a bridge between the discourse program during day times & the concerts & club-culture in the night, focusing on spoken word, experimental poetry, performance & music. In 2015 he co-founded the INTERLAB-Festival in Salzburg, a festival that transforms vacant spaces into temporary centers for transdisiplinary art, music & discourse, strongly inspired by the ELEVATE in Graz. He sporadically publishes essays & poetry in books & magazines.
