Afrorack (ug)

The musician Afrorack has not only delivered one of the best albums of last year with his self-titled release, he is also known for his self-built modular synth. Bamanya Brian is an experimental multidisciplinary artist from Uganda and is considered one of the pioneers in building electronic musical instruments in Africa. Some of his constructions have attracted the attention of major international companies such as Korg, Behringer and Arturia, with whom he has realised projects. In his live sets, he weaves abstract scapes with techno and acid.
