Frido Hütter has been voted "best cultural journalist" by the Austrian magazine "Der österreichische Journalist" in 2007.
Hütter is a member of the editorial staff of the Kleine Zeitung since 1974. 1989 he became the head of the cultural department of the newspaper, which is the second largest in Austria. He is often invited at podium discussions and for interviews on Austrian national TV.
