Low Frequency Orchestra
Low Frequency Orchestra was founded in Vienna in 2003 by Castelló, Grill, Osojnik and Schellander. They work intensively on free, "non-idiomatic" improvised music (CD S, 2008). The only rule this ensemble has is that the music should have the qualities of classical compositions with emphasis on quickly changing meters. In collaboration with different artists they created Das Spiel vom Kommen und Gehen (with R. Lettner & M. Pichlmair, DVD 2010) and Mole (with Wolfgang Mitterer, CD 2010).
