Simon Reynolds
Simon Reynolds is the author of seven books, including Energy Flash: A Journey Through Rave Music and Dance Culture (1998; expanded/updated reissue 2008), Rip It Up and Start Again: Postpunk 1978-84 (2005), and his latest work Retromania: Pop Culture’s Addiction To Its Own Past, which was published earlier this year by Faber & Faber and is coming out in a German translation in 2012 via Ventil Verlag. Born in London, resident in New York for most of the 90s and 2000s, he now lives in Los Angeles.
