Jacqueline Cramer

Jacqueline Cramer lives in Seattle and is co founder of the Beacon Food Forest, a community-run project creating the USA´s largest Public Food Forest – an „urban oasis of public food“ (cityfarmer.info). With passion to act for social justice, to tend the land, and to grow food, she works to provide communities access to public land for local food security and gathering places to build connections. She is a landscape designer, educator, and gardener who has worked the land for over twenty years as farmer, educator, planner, and landscaper. She believes that in regenerating the land and our human relationships we have a chance to do something for ourselves, our planet and future generations.
