India established herself as a DJ & Promoter in Hull (The North of England) where she studied philosophy. Now based in London, her Radar Radio show, “The Sound of…” draw on these roots. Each show is themed and accompanied by an in depth write up of the process of each episode (www.thesoundofshows.tumblr.com). The show has come to be recognised in the scene for it’s unique approach and has since featured guests such as Murlo, Deadboy, Yamaneko to name a few, it has also featured in FACT India also runs New Atlantis, a monthly social showcasing new age and ambient sounds, giving artists a space to perform outside the usual club sphere, often featuring live performances and accompanied by soothing visuals. Recent appearances at Boxed vs Local Action and the legendary FWD showcased India’s sound to a wider audience.
