My Data Trail

Informed consent about data collections is only possible if we understand what sort of data is stored. Under the GDPR, EU citizen have the right to request information about their user data. But it is very rare, that users make use of their right to ask. Katharina Nocun requested her personal user data from several companies and government institutions. During her research, she made some quite unpleasant discoveries about her personal data trail. The details will be revealed in this session about her book.
