Struggles against Oil and Coal in Norway and Poland
Sunday, 03 Mar 2019
In Norway, many people are working to get the country out of oil production and stop the government from destroying nature and fueling climate change. Poland has a powerful coal industry that has a significant impact on the country's development. Coal is the most harmful source of energy and if the complete escalation of the climate crisis is to be prevented, its extraction and combustion must be stopped as soon as possible. We´ll talk to Norwegian and Polish activists about their commitment to keeping fossil fuels in the ground and promoting the energy transition. In addition, they will share their visions for the future of energy supply and our societies with the audience.
