Ferdinand Schmatz
Born in Korneuburg, Lower Austria in 1953, Schmatz writes poetry, prosa, essays and audio books, lives in Vienna and teaches applied art at the University of Vienna.
Awards include: 1999 Christine-Lavant-Preis, 2004 Georg-Trakl-Preis, 2006 H.C.-Artmann-Preis, 2009 Ernst-Jandl-Preis
