Janine Rostron
Janine Rostron aka Planningtorock was born in Bolton, England and currently lives and works in Berlin. She was classically trained (violin) from the age of eight and played her first shows in 2002 in clubs in Berlin. 2003 saw her first single release and the Weimar-Tour-EP and 2004 saw the EP Topics on a Foreign Mind released on Twisted Nerve, as well as Eins on her own label. In 2006 she signed to Chicks on Speed Records and released the 7'' Changes/I Wanna Bite Ya closely followed bei her debut album Have It All. In 2010, she worked on the Darwin opera Tomorrow, in a Year in cooperation with the Knife most recently released the album W on DFA.
