With his Antiehdas solo project Andreas Harrer sets out on a search for unclassifiable soundscapes and beats. An important element of his music are the self-recorded sound fragments that he uses as samples. Be it live drums or kitchen utensils - many different sounds can be found in the music of Antiehdas. More than just loosely strung together ideas, Harrer's work reveals complex musical structures. Sometimes little details merge to form layers of beatless sound, often times the bass-heavy textures grow to a polyphonic composition or disturbing noises accompany harmonic melodies.
