Black Manna
A deep-seated interest in spirituality, religion and the occult is what brought the two FM4 hosts and musicians David Pfister und Dr. Nachtstrom together and under the moniker Black Manna they have been exploring ways to transform dark corners, nooks and chasms into musical rituals ever since. Perhaps the most intriguing part of their work are the recordings on which one can allegedly hear voices from the "Afterworld". The origin of these pieces, spoken and sung in a multitude of languages, is unknown to this day. In their live performance Black Manna will try to conjure up a "medial transpersonality" - an experiment with an uncertain result. This event will aptly feature the background music of the two Black Manna protagonists and film maker Jörg Vogeltanz will provide visual content. This unsettling event will challenge even the bravest of audience members.
