Christian Steinbacher
Born in 1960 in Ried im Innkreis (Upper Austria). Working beside his literary production as publisher, editor, curator and organizer in Linz since 1984. As an author he started in the surroundings of new, visual, sonoring and conceptual poetry, realized text performances and textual installations mostly in the 1990ies, today primarily writes poems, poetic prose, audio plays and essays. He received the "Landeskulturpreis" in 2006 and the Stifter Award of Upper Austria in 2011.
