The Bug feat. Daddy Freddy & Miss Red

Kevin Martin is a producer who has amassed a ridiculous amount of projects over the years, creating mind-bending fusions of jazz, dub, hip hop, and experimental industrial noise for over a decade, and is still pushing forward. Since The Bug's first album Tapping The Conversation (an alternative soundtrack to Francis Ford Coppola's masterpiece of paranoid celluloid), his signature sound of raw, belligerent dub found a home on Razor X and Rephlex, and more recently on Hyperdub and Ninja Tune. But The Bug is just one out of many projects that Kevin Martin has worked on, and if you've ever had your wig blown off by King Midas Sound, Techno Animal, Pressure, Ice and God (with Justin Broadrick), or Curse Of The Golden Vampire, then you know Kevin was on the buttons behind the scenes. He has collaborated with noise jazz outfit 16-17, Pete Sonic Boom Kemper's E.A.R. project, Mark Stewart, John Zorn and Anti-Pop Consortium, just to name a few. He has remixed everyone from Thom Yorke and Grace Jones to Einstürzende Neubauten and Primal Scream, so you know The Bug’s pedigree is second-to-none.
