The sound of DJ and producer Simo Cell moves along the spectrum and at the experimental edges of the UK bass genres. He understands the play and modulation of bass and sub-bass frequencies. His productions, like his DJ sets, are incredibly dynamic, they float as much as they kick. His debut album has just been released, which is at times brute and docks onto Bristol's techno sound, but at times also veers towards digital IDM. Deeply rooted in the French club scene, he also enjoys collaborating with acts such as Bambounou and Low Jack.
