A Thousand Fuegos' electronic style is neither hip nor urban. It is as rural as the place The Treachery Of Things has been recorded at: an abandoned house at the foot of the "Affenberg" (Monkey Mountain) in the picturesque countryside of southern Austria. Beats, loops and spacey synths mirror the feeling of rural isolation and introspectiveness and lay the foundation for the lyrical examination of the Treachery Of Things: the notion that we can never grasp the true identity of things around us which forces us to set them free.
